Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: * Having a definite diagnosis of IBS by a gastroenterologist. * An age range between 20 and 60 years. * Both genders. * Providing written consent to enter the research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: * Patients who were unable to interconnect. * Having a severe psychological disorder. * Receiving psychiatric medication, addiction to any drug, or attending other psychoeducational programs at the same time. * Absenteeism in two successive sessions, and failure to carry out homework.
