Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Adult patients (more than 18 years) of any sex, admitted at IRRH and DRRH surgical and Obstetrics and Gynecology wards diagnosed with infected/gapped abdominal wounds during the study period will be included in our study. -Participants with abdominal wound and provide a written informed consent for study participation will be enrolled

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with unexcised eschar Unconscious patients Pregnancy Patients who are on corticosteroids, chemotherapy or anticoagulants
