Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ? Children with any condition necessitating antibiotic therapy, oral or intravenous. ? Within 24 hours from the start of the antibiotic therapy. ? Age range 4 months to 12 years old. ? Any sex.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ? Patients with diarrhea prior to antibiotic therapy, or of any known etiology, acute or chronic. ? Patients receiving antibiotics to which B. clausii organisms are sensitive including: Chloramphenicol, Rifampicin, Streptomycin and Tetracycline. ? Immunodeficiency. ? Use of a probiotic product for any reason in the previous 7 days to the actual condition.
