Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All women who consented for elective Caesarean section and also consented for the study without the exclusion criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with known coagulation disorders Women on anticoagulant Women allergic to tranexamic acid Women with history of thromboembolism Women with preeclampsia, eclampsia, sickle cell disease
