Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male and female participants with chronic low back pain of at least 5/10 on Numerical pain rating scale. Participants with history of non-specific chronic low back pain with or without pain radiating to one or both lower limbs. Participants with history of non-specific chronic low back pain of not less than 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Participants with any previous history of trauma to the back • Participants with congenital abnormalities of the back • Participants diagnosed with underlying pathology such as infection, tumours or cancers, osteoporosis, lumbar spine fracture, structural deformity, inflammatory disorder, radicular syndrome, or cauda equina syndrome . • Participants with cognitive limitations • Participants with neurological disorders • Participants who have had previous back surgeries • Participants with medical or surgical conditions which might hinder exercise performance e.g diabetes. • Participants who have a history of Orthopaedics problem including conditions of the back that would affect their ability to sustain stabilisation exercise and yoga.

Pain Disability Questionnaire (PDQ) is a self-report measure designed to assess the impact of chronic pain on an individual's daily functioning and activities. It was developed by Tait and colleagues in 1990 and has since been widely used in both clinical and research settings. The PDQ consists of 15 items that cover various domains of functioning affected by pain, such as physical and social activities, work, and emotional well-being. Respondents rate the extent to which pain interferes with each activity on a scale from 0 (no interference) to 10 (total interference). Pain Self Efficacy Questionnaires --the Pain Self- Efficacy Questionnaire (PSEQ) is a 10-item questionnaire developed to assess the confidence people with ongoing pain have in performing activities while in pain. The participants rate their confidence from 0 point (not at all confident) to 6 points (completely confident). Total scores are calculated by summing the individual items with a range from 0 point (less self-efficacy) to 60 points (more self-efficacy). The PSEQ is applicable to all persisting pain presentation. A high score indicates greater levels of confidence in dealing with pain. High scores are strongly associated with clinically-significant functional levels and provides a useful gauge for evaluating outcomes in chronic pain patients. Raw scores around 40 (percentile=50) are associated with return to work and maintenance of functional gains, whilst lower scores (for example a raw score of 30, percentile=18) tend to predict less sustainable gains (Adams and Williams, 2003).
