Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults (20-60 years old) both sex able to provide advanced informed consent. 2. Cirrhotic patient child A, B. 3. Body mass index (BMI) < 35 kg/m2. 4. Scheduled for elective abdominal surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient refusal to participate in the study. 2) Morbid obesity Body mass index higher than 35 kg/m2. 3) A history of cardiac disease. 4) Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension, pulmonary, or endocrine diseases, or renal impairment. 5) Pregnancy and emergency surgery. 6) History of radiotherapy or surgery of the neck region. 7) Child C, acute liver failure and liver cancers. 8) Patients on beta blockers, ACE inhibitors and ARBS.
