Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adolescents: age between12-19years old Severe visual impairment (Visual acuity between 6/60 and 3/60 in the better eye)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with neurological, vestibular, orthopedic or musculoskeletal problems Participants who were participate in a physical rehabilitations program or a musicotherapy intervention in the last year Medication use that could interfere with testing

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome consisted on the evaluation of the physical and the cognitive performance. According to the physical performance evaluation - The static postural balance was evaluated using the stabilometric platform (postureWin©, Techno Concept ®,Cereste, France; 40 Hz frequency,12-bits A/D conversion) and the single leg stance clinical test and the dynamic postural balance using the Timed Up and Go Test TUGT. - The lower limb muscle strength was evaluated using a connected electronic traction dynamometer (K-Force® Link, KINVENT, Montpellier, France) and the Sit to Stand clinical test. -The lower limb muscle power was evaluated by the squat jump and countermovement jump tests using the infrared timing system (Optojump Next, Microgate, Bolzano, Italy). Indeed, we evaluated the lower limb endurance by the killy test and the risk of falls by the functional reach test. The cognitive performance was evaluated by the auditory reaction time using the Inquisit 6 Millisecond Software (version 6.6.1) and by the letter fluency test and the Serial subtraction test.

Anthropometric data, including age, sex, weight, and height, were collected from each participant through anamnesis. Additionally, clinical parameters related to visual impairment were obtained through a combination of anamnesis and review of medical records
