Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We will enroll patients of both sexes age of patients betwwen (21–60 years old) ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status classification score of I to II scheduled for elective surgical procedure requiring endotracheal intubation the body mass index less than 30 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Diabetic or prediabetic (fasting blood glucose 100 mg/dl or higher) 3. Hypertensive patients 4. Patients with history of airway or neck surgery 5. Emergency surgery 6. Abnormal neck mobility 7. Smokers 8. Well known airway congenital malformations, maxillofacial abnormalities, pathology as cervical or facial fractures, cervical tumors. 9. History of difficult intubation. 10. Tracheostomized patients. 11.Pregnant female patients. 12. Body mass index more than 30 kg/m2 13. ASA III or above patients. 14. Oral bleeding cases

Comparison between the effects of the use of the indirect video laryngoscope and the direct laryngoscope on the systolic, diastolic, mean blood pressure and heart rate of the patients.;Comparison between the effects of the use of the indirect video laryngoscope and the direct laryngoscope on the the fasting blood sugar of the patients.

Intubation time required with both techniques;difference in Oxygen saturation before , during and after intubation with both techniques ;Difference in Cormack-Lehane grading of Laryngoscopic view of larynx with both techniques.
