Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients who failed to respond to conservative management protocol (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy, and occlusal splint) for three months. - Wilkes stage II, III. - No prior TMJ surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - An in?ammatory or connective tissue disease. - History of or an ongoing autoimmune disease. - Neurologic disorders.
