Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Female 2. Aged 10-19 years 3. Assent from participants 4. Informed consent of parent or guardian
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants having taken iron/folate tablets or any hematinic within the three months prior to the study 2. History of a chronic blood disorder, such as sickle-cell disease 3. Participants with known allergies to any of the ingredients utilized in the study
