Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elderly patients with American Society of Anesthesiology Physical Status II or III scheduled for open colorectal surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal. Allergy to local anaesthetic drugs or any included medications. Coagulopathy or patients on anti-coagulant. Preoperative cognitive dysfunction. Contraindications to epidural analgesia or QLB. Body mass index (BMI) > 35.
