Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Antepartum eclamptics at 28 weeks and above Intrapartum eclamptics at 28 weeks and above Postpartum eclamptics

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with previous history of seizure disorder before pregnancy Subjects who have been commenced on anticonvulsant prior to admission Subjects with diagnosed brain tumour If subjects's relative withholds consent Contraindications to use of magnesium sulphate Subjects with renal failure Subjects below 28 weeks of gestation
