Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The term, ASA II parturients who will undergo elective cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patients with a history of adverse responses to fentanyl or bupivacaine ? Patients with height 175cm ? BMI > 40 kg/m2 ? Multiple pregnancy & macrosomia ? Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (eclampsia, pre-eclampsia) ? Known diabetic patient ? Mothers on beta-blockers and any other drug which alter the response to study drug ? Baseline heart rate 120beat per minute ? Febrile patient
