Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Age between 18-60 years. ? Either sex. ? American society of anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status class I or II. ? Patients scheduled for elective upper abdominal surgery under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patient refusal ? Emergent and urgent operations. ? History of allergy to any drugs of the study. ? Coagulation disorder. ? Infection at puncture site. ? Pregnancy. ? Chronic treatment with opioids or NSAIDS. ? Uncooperative patients.
