Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A single episode of stroke 2. Ability to carry out sit to stand transfer independently 3. Can ambulate independently with or without assistive device 4. Well oriented, can communicate and obey simple commands 5. Controlled blood pressure of less than 140/100mmHg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unstable Angina in the last 3 months 2. Myocardial infarction in the last 3 months 3. Resting heart rate of more than 120bpm 4. Stroke patients on wheelchair
