Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for supratentorial brain tumor resection surgery. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) grades I, II and ???. Age between 20 and 60 years. either sex. Patients with Glasgow Coma Scale score (GCS) above 10
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who refused to participate in the study . Patients with infra tentorial tumors. Patients allergic to tranexamic acid. History suggestive of bleeding diathesis, thromboembolic episode prior to surgery or family history of thromboembolism, patients on medication that could interfere with coagulation. History of epilepsy. Associated sever uncompensated diseases(cardiac-respiratory-hepatic or renal diseases). Pregnancy
