Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Age from 18 to 60y. -both sex. -ASA physical status II&III. -Patients scheduled for elective cardiac surgery (valve replacement or coronary artery bypass surgery).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients refusal. -allergy to the study drug. -emergent cardiac surgery. -redo cardiac surgery. -combined coronary artery bypass surgery/ valve replacement surgery. -ejection fraction less than 40%. -liver disease.
