Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA Class I- II randomized 2. Patients aged =18 to = 60 years of both sexes. 3. Patients undergoing elective upper major abdominal surgery : hepatectomy, splenectomy, common bile duct exploration, Whipple and others.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Body mass index (BMI) =35 kg/m2 or =15 kg/m2. 2. History of relevant drug allergy. 3. History of alcohol or analgesics dependence.
