Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ) patients aged between 20 and 60 years old both sexes ASA class I or II undergoing elective abdominal and lower limb surgery under spinal anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients on opioid therapy, central nervous system depressants, or with physical dependence on opioids, hepatic or renal disease, pregnancy or lactation, diabetes mellitus ,and/or bleeding disorder are not included. We also excluded patients refusing or having a contraindication for neuraxial blocks , established respiratory depression; a history of hypersensitivity to one of the drugs and/or not willing to participate in the study.
