Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged between 12 to 60 months American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II undergoing scheduled elective unilateral inguinal hernia repair
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: previous inguinal surgery history of clinically significant cardiac, hepatic, renal, or neurological dysfunction coagulopathy known allergy to amide local anesthetics
