Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients of ASA I or ASA II. 2) Age range between 18-50 years. 3) Patient scheduled for elective unilateral ACL reconstruction. 4) Body mass index < 35 kg/m2 or less.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient’s refusal. 2) Pregnancy 3) Significant psychiatric or mental disorders 4) Allergy to local anesthetics. 5) Baseline neuropathy or neurological deficits involving the lower extremities. 6) Patients with coagulopathy.

assessment of pain using VAS in the first 24 hours postoperatively. Time to first analgesic request and total narcotic needs
