Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Adults (18 years and older) with opioid use disorder as per DSM-5 criteria. • Have a urine toxicology screen testing positive for non-medical opioids • Have access to a phone that can send and receive text message. • Able to read and write in English or Kiswahili. • Able to sign an informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Inability to communicate via text message in English or Kiswahili. • No access to a phone with text messaging capability. • Not able or willing to give informed consent.
