Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants were eligible for the study if they fulfil the following criteria; 1. Between the ages of 13-17 years 2. Must be attending a public or private secondary school in the selected country. 3. Participants were willing to be enrolled and followed for 2 years duration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any eligible participant who presents with any of the following conditions was excluded from the study; 1. Any obvious physical deformity or congenital malformation 2. Signs of any apparent or obvious disease condition 3. Inability to read and write in English or Hausa language
