Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Grade 8 and 9 learners. Eligible participants were identified by measuring their height and weight to calculate BMI. Boys and girls with a BMI = 85th percentile were approached for inclusion in the intervention study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not able to attend the intervention Grade 10 and older learners BMI < 85th percentile
