Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Symptomatic acute aluminum phosphide intoxicated patients (aged 12 years or older, male or female). Patients with systolic blood pressure (SBP) =80 mmHg or pH =7.2 or HCO3 =15 meq/L will be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Patients with co-exposure to other poisons. • Patients received medical treatment before admission. • Patients with chronic disease such as: diabetes, hepatic, renal, cardiovascular diseases. • Pregnant and lactating women. • Patients less than 12 years. • Patients died within 2 hours after admission. • Patients presented with hypoglycemia or hypokalemia on admission.
