Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All cirrhotic patients who will present with healthy non bleeding gastric varices associated with bleeding or high risky esophageal varices will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patient who refused to be enrolled in our study. Patients with active or previously bled from gastric varices. or have - Impending to bleed gastric varices - Patients who have any contraindication to beta blockers.
