Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Rotator cuff tendinopathy (RCT) patients with symptoms for 3 months or more and with failed conservative treatment of at least 4 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: previous injection in the shoulder within 3 months, history of shoulder trauma, instability, rotator cuff full thickness tear, shoulder surgery, patients who were suffering from rheumatic diseases, hepatitis, hematological diseases, platelet value < 150,000 mm3, tumors or metastatic disease

The result of this study may offer clarity on which treatment approach might be better for rotator cuff tendinopathy and might aid as a guide for future management

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Prolotherapy injection was superior to platelet rich plasma and steroid in treatment of rotator cuff tendinopathy .
