Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- Obese adults with BMI higher than 30 kg/m2, and with Stable weight in the past 3 months. 2- Willing to eat the foods prescribed in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Presence of any chronic disease like (cardiovascular, endocrine, acute or chronic inflammatory diseases, etc.). 2- Taking medications for lipid metabolism or psychiatric disorders.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.serum levels of calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, chloride, and phosphate at baseline. 2.The lipid profile (LDL-C and TG) level at baseline. 3.The weight indicated by BMI at baseline.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. The intakes and serum levels of calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, chloride, and phosphate at the end of a 12-wk intervention. 2. The lipid profile (LDL-C and TG) level at the end of a 12-wk intervention. 3. The weight changes indicated by BMI at the end of a 12-wk intervention.
