Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Ages range from 7-9 years from both genders. • The ability to understand and properly perform the tests involved in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • A history of cardiorespiratory, neuromuscular, rheumatic, and neurological diseases. • Any acute illness at the time of collection of data. • Forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) lower than 80% of the predicted

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The outcome measures were the following: FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio and PEFR. Then we recorded the results.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The correlation between normal, overweight, obese down syndrome BMI and Pulmonary functions in this age group.
