Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Fifty patients aged 30-60 years both sex eligible for radio frequency ablation of hepatic focal lesions

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient's refusal expected difficult intubation neurological or psychiatric disorders Child-Paugh C classification local infection at injection site spine or chest wall deformity allergy to any of the study drugs opioid addiction uncooperative patients

Total fentanyl consumption during the procedure

MeasureTime frame
pain will be assessed by non verbal pain score NVPS;time to first analgesic request;adverse effects e.g. nausea, vomiting, somnolence, hypotension,bradycardia,bradypnea,llocal anesthetic toxicity,or pneumothorax
