Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All febrile patients (age ranged 18–60 years) suspected for malaria or typhoid or both and screened malaria and typhoid positive. 2. who had not taken any medication or herbs within the last 2 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals that are under treatment for any other disease like diabetes, sickle cell anaemia, hepatitis, high blood pressure HIV etc. 2. Individuals that are contraindicated for Ciprofloxacin and/or artemether lumefantrin or have been placed under higher antibiotics other than ciprofloxacin.
