Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 6 to 16 yrs. ASA physical status I and II either sex undergoing surgeries supine position under general anesthesia lasting for more than one hour.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with Mallampati class > 2 pre-operative sore throat, upper respiratory tract infection, allergy to study drug recent history of NSAID medications asthmatics those who require more than two attempts at intubation surgeries requiring nasogastric tube and throat pack insertion duration of surgery >3 hrs. surgeries in lateral and prone position
