Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients should present with complete bilateral cleft lip and palate. Patient age should not be more than 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with congenital malformations and systemic syndromes.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Retraction of the premaxilla and reduction of the cleft gaps according to the required endpoint of treatment obtained in the virtual plan.;Improvement of nasal measurements.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of maxillary geometry with the planned endpoint of treatment obtained in the virtual plan.;Comparison of the effect of the two appliances (NAM and two-piece premaxillary retractor) regarding maxillary geometry and nasal measurements.
