Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ¿Pregnant, full term women(completed 37 weeks). ¿Singleton pregnancy. ¿Patients ASA physical status I and II (American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical status ). ¿Patient refusal of regional anesthesia. ¿Infection at the site of injection of spinal anesthesia. ¿Surgical indication for general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ¿Refusal of participation in the study. ¿Allergy to dexmedetomidine. ¿Multiple pregnancy
