Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
arterial blood gases before and after the treatment ¿PaO2 (partial arterial oxygen pressure) , PaCO2 (partial arterial carbon dioxide pressure) ¿O2 %( oxygen saturation) ¿PaO2 / FiO2 (% of O2 pressure and fraction inspired O2)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Heart rate, respiratory rate, mean arterial pressure, tidal volume, minute ventilation, rapid shallow breathing index the ratio of the frequency of breathing divided by the tidal volume and dynamic lung compliance scores
