Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: infants less than one year scheduled for elective cardiac surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: inflammation at the catheter insertion site, previous neck surgery, anatomical variation of neck vessels, previous right-side central venous catheterization within one month.
