Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: first year anesthesia residence patients body mass index less than 24 kg/m2) ASSA I, II scheduled for surgery under general anaesthesia and lumber epidural analgesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ¿ Local site infection. ¿ Previous spine surgery and deformity. ¿ Coagulation disorders. ¿ Neuromuscular disorder. ¿ Allergy to local anaesthetics, opioids or latex. ¿ Previous epidural catheter insertion. ¿ Patients not willing for participation.
