Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with sickle cell anemia (HbSS), or(HbSC) who are experiencing uncomplicated severe acute VOC (score equal or more of 6 cm on a 10cm visul analog scale [VAS]) aged from 5 to 15 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients carrying a cardiac pacemaker, Pregnancy, VOC concomitant with other acute processes including acute chest syndrome and potential serious infection. Transfusion within the last 30 days
