Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients with chronic calcular cholecystitis. - American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) physical status I or II, scheduled for laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Allergy or contraindication to any of the studied medications or anaesthetic agents. - Patients on anticoagulation therapy. - Chronic opioid analgesic use. - Pregnancy. - Infection at the site of injection or any other contraindication for regional anaesthesia. - Complicated cases
