Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients 40¿70 years old of both sexes, ASA physical status I ¿ III,were referred to the Menoufiya University outpatient pain clinic and suffering from failed back surgery syndrome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: . Patients were excluded if they suffered from sacroiliac joint disease, facet joint arthritis, severe cardiopulmonary disease, uncontrolled diabetes, morbid obesity, addiction, infection, coagulation disorders and patients were on opioid medications for pain management before or during the study period.
