Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 6 to 59 months 2. Clinical diagnosis of acute diarrhoea 3. 3 or more episodes of non-bilious, non-bloody vomiting in the preceding 24hrs 4. Children classified with some dehydration 5. Informed written consent from caregiver
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Treatment with an antiemetic in the previous 24 hours 2. Clinical diagnosis of dysentery 3. Underlying chronic illness e.g. Cardiac disease, Liver or Renal failure, malignancy etc. 4. Severely Malnourished children 5. Known history of hypersensitivity to ondansetron
