Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1-Subjects aging ¿ 12 years. [To study the effects of intervention on permanent teeth] 2-Subjects consuming soda drinks 22 or more times per week. 3-Subjects brushing their teeth once daily at least. [To exclude the effect of tooth brushing on tested outcomes]
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1-Subjects suffering from gastric reflux disease. [Persons with gastric reflux are at risk of developing erosion (Jensdottir et al. 2004; Holbrook et al. 2009)] 2-Subjects suffering from conditions or under medications affecting salivary flow. [Erosion may be associated with low salivary flow or/and low buffering capacity (Buzalaf et al. 2012)] 3- Subjects consuming citrus fruits and juices frequently. [High consumption of citrus fruits and juices has been reported as a causative factor for dental erosion (Moynihan, 2002)] 4-Restored anterior teeth. [Assessing the amount of erosion will be not applicable according to the index proposed by (Lussi, 1996)]
