Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria All ASA I and II patients between 18-65 years scheduled to receive general anaesthesia with a laryngeal mask airway for elective surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria ¿ History of ongoing upper respiratory tract infection. ¿ Patients with a failed LMA insertion defined as an unsuccessful laryngeal mask airway placement after two attempts. ¿ Patients with severe gastro oesophageal reflux disease. ¿ Patients with a symptomatic hiatus hernia. ¿ Patients with a BMI> 40kg/m2. ¿ Patients undergoing ENT-Ear Nose and Throat Procedures.
