Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18 years or older Stroke confirmed on brain CT scan Admitted within 7 days of stroke onset Provide written informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who were unable to communicate (severe stroke, aphasia, or dementia) with no valid surrogate respondent (spouse or first degree relative living in same home or is self-identified as aware of the participant¿s previous medical history & current therapies).
