Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed PTB patients aged 15 years and above with no previous TB treatment and who resides in the study locality.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: PTB patients less than 15 years, or those who are already on treatment or defaulters, failures and transferred in cases or those with known allergies to any of the anti-TB drugs in the treatment regimen, or those with co ¿existing medical conditions like renal failure, liver disease
