Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with symptomatic second and third degree hemorrhoids failed medical treatment age 18 to 71 years of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients excluded if they had acute thrombosed piles previous hemorrhoidectomy anal stricture fissure in ano fistula in ano faecal incontinence medical conditions that made the patient unfit for elective surgery who had not consent to the trial.
