Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Aged between 65-85 yearsBMI between 18.5-30 kg/m^2Healthy, recreationally active (maximal one intensive exercise training per week)No physical limitations (i.e., able to perform all activities associated with daily living independently)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: SmokingDiagnosed musculoskeletal disordersUse of any medication known to affect protein metabolismChronic use of gastric acid-suppressing medication or anti-coagulantsUnstable weight over the last 3 monthsDiagnosed GI tract disorders or diseasesBlood donation in the past 2 monthsFollowing a vegan diet
