Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Ischaemic or haemorrhagic stroke (single and first ever stroke of history of previous stroke with full physical recovery).Age = 18 years.Able to give informed consent.Able to follow simple verbal instructions.Participants may be enrolled from Functional Ambulation Categories (FAC) level 0 onward. The actual data collection will commence at FAC =3, in order to enable monitoring of walking activities.Particpants are undergoing therapy of have previously undergone therapy in Roessingh Centre for Rehabilitation.Sub-acute or chronic phase.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Suffering from severe comprehensive aphasia, neglect, cardiac, pulmonary or orthopedic disorders that could interfere with gait.Participant in Part A will be excluded from participation in Part B, if the expected prognosis does not allow for a return to the home environment.Insufficient knowledge of the Dutch of Englisch language to understand the purpose or the method of the research.

The primary outcomes are kinematics in joint angels and spatiotemporal parameters.
