Age
18 Years to 99 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with early-stage dementiaDiagnosis of mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia.Age = 18 years.Able to participate in a group discussion.Sufficient proficiency in the Dutch language.Willingness to provide written informed consent.Informal caregiversInformal caregiver of a person with dementia.Age = 18 years.Sufficient proficiency in the Dutch language.Willingness to participate in a focus group.Healthcare professionalsWorking in the care of people with dementia (e.g., neurologist, geriatrician, psychiatrist, nurse, dementia case manager).At least one year of work experience in this field.Willingness to participate in a focus group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insufficient proficiency in the Dutch language.Severe cognitive impairment preventing participation in a group discussion.Individuals unable to provide informed consent.Individuals unwilling to allow audio recording of the discussion.
