Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 64 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In order to be eligible to participate in this study, a subject must meet all of the following criteria:Women.Between the age of 30 to 60.Resident in the Netherlands. At least one time not attending the cervical screening.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A potential subject who meets any of the following criteria will be excluded from participation in this study: Insufficient command of the Dutch of English language.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of the study is the most important reasons to not attend the cervical screening and the underlying factors causing these reasons.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcomes are a correlation between baseline characteristics and the reason for non-attendance, what needs to change for someone to participate, opinion about the name of the cervical screening programme, reason for attendance, reason for not using a self-sampling device, reason for not making a follow-up appointment after an abnormal self-test of pap smear and knowledge about the screening programme.
